Twin-Drive Gears for Cold Rolling Mills
With the Eisenbeiss twin-drive gears, up to 7 MW can be output divided between two independent drive shafts. Thanks to the latest calculation methods for gear toothing and shafts as well as the latest processing technologies for corrected gearing, a small work roll gap is possible, which is essential for the production of high-precision rolled products.
In combination with the high rigidity of the housings and a low-vibration design of the spur gears, Eisenbeiss ensures the rolling of flawless strips, even with ultra-thin steel strip and aluminium foil.
