Powerful and energy efficient

The Eisenbeiss Speed Star® twin-screw extruder offers maximum torques, the greatest efficiency and a long service life. With torque densities of up to 20 Nm/cm³ per shaft and output speeds of up to 1800 rpm, it meets even the toughest requirements. A sophisticated lubrication system also ensures great efficiency and maximum operational safety. These gear units are used in the production of raw materials for injection moulding machines, powder coatings and in master batch production.

Es erreicht Drehmomentdichten bis zu 20 Nm/cm³ pro Welle und Abtriebsdrehzahlen bis zu 1800 min⁻¹. Ein ausgeklügeltes Schmierungssystem sorgt für Effizienz und maximale Sicherheit. Special solutions for special sectors

Eisenbeiss understands the special requirements of the food industry and offers customized solutions for maximum production output, reliability and operational safety. The tried-and-tested Speed Star® concept is used for food production because the gear units were developed specifically for this sector to meet the different power and speed requirements. A central challenge in food extrusion is guaranteeing germ-free production. To achieve this, access for cleaning must be of an extremely high standard.

Eisenbeiss meets this requirement with Hygienic Design, a concept that includes very smooth surfaces, minimizing niches and a special design of lubrication components and their wiring. The co-rotating gear units can also be used with food-compatible oils as an option. These gear units are used in the production of animal feed (for dogs, cats and other pets), in fish farming and in the production of foodstuffs such as cereals, meat substitutes and pasta.

The proven Speed Star® concept is used for battery extrusion, with the gear units developed specifically to meet the various performance and back-pressure requirements of this industry. A central challenge is guaranteeing that the output shafts have absolute freedom of movement in all operating states. Eisenbeiss meets this requirement with a patented gear system solution that is specifically tailored to the needs of battery extrusion.
