Metal Technology –
Mechanical Engineering Module

Goal
Independent assembly of various types of gears for special and high-performance gear systems in the extrusion, energy technology and steel industries.

Reading and preparing technical documents such as outline drawings and assembly drawings
Processing and manufacturing mechanical components
Assembling different types of gears
Disassembling & servicing gears

Duration: 3.5 years
Vocational School: Steyr

Metal Technology –
Machining Technology Module

Goal
Independent work on CNC-controlled machines with a wide variety of parts.

Reading and preparing technical documents such as outline drawings and assembly drawings
Processing and manufacturing of individual components and small series
Operating conventional, cycle-controlled and ultra-modern multi-axis CNC milling, turning and grinding machines

Duration: 3.5 years

Mechatronics –
Automation Technology or Manufacturing Technology Module

Goal
Control of various types of gears, such as special and high-performance gears for the extrusion, energy technology and steel industries.

Reading and preparing technical documents such as outline drawings and assembly drawings
Operating state of the art multi-axis CNC machine centres
Assembly, maintenance and repair of electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic parts
Programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial robots

Duration: 3 years

Operational Logistics

Goal
Ensuring the flow of goods, shipping finished products and receiving incoming goods.

Receipt and inspection of goods
Warehousing and stores management
Scheduling and inventory management
Dispatch and distribution

Goal
Development of in-house applications and software.

Apprenticeships

The apprenticeship combines practical experience in the company with theoretical lessons in vocational school to provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge for your job.

Completion:
Final apprenticeship exam (theoretical & practical)

Further Education:
After completing the apprenticeship, there are numerous further education opportunities, such as obtaining the vocational school diploma.

Apprenticeships with high school diploma (Matura)

Starting in the 2nd year of their apprenticeship, Eisenbeiss apprentices can study for a high school diploma while working.

Completion:
Final apprenticeship exam (theoretical & practical) + school diploma

Further Education:

Having completed the apprenticeship with school diploma, there are numerous further education opportunities, such as taking a degree course at a university or university of applied science.

Dual Academy (DA)

Eisenbeiss is a training company at the Dual Academy. This form of training offers high school students a direct start into working life and includes a lot of hands-on experience, subject-specific work and an internship abroad. The training lasts 2 to a maximum of 3 years (depending on the profession).

Completion:
Final apprenticeship exam (theoretical & practical) + further certificates (e.g. ECDL, Cambridge certificate)

Further Education:

After completing the Dual Academy and one year of professional experience, it is possible to be awarded the “Dual Academy Professional” certificate.
