Hoist Gearboxes
Hoist gearboxes for cranes used for general materials handling applications need to be reliable and easy to maintain. That is why Eisenbeiss relies almost exclusively on robust spur gear systems in this area. When designing and selecting the gears, both the specific area of application and the classification of the hoist according to FEM are taken into account. Because the dimensions are predefined, rapid selection and implementation can be guaranteed. Eisenbeiss offers the gear systems as foot-mounted versions or with three-point bearings, although versions in accordance with DIN 15053 are also possible.

Advantages
Performance-matched dimensions
Eisenbeiss offers predefined series based on FEM classification and drum torque. This enables a quick and efficient selection and implementation of the right gear system solution.
Designed for steel mills
Our gearboxes are equipped with welded housings, which ensure increased robust-ness and torsional stiffness and are ideal for challenging applications inside steel mills.
Individual adaptation
The predefined dimensions can be adapted in terms of axle spacing, installation space and shaft configurations. In addition, a version with a hollow shaft can be im-plemented as a shaft-mounted gear unit.
